Magnum Gen 2 Tattoo Cartridges - Whip Shading Magnums (10PCS)

Magnum Gen 2 Whip Shading Magnums are the next generation of our popular Magnum Premium Cartridges and designed for artists creating smooth gradients, textured shading, stippling effects, and softer black and grey transitions.

Also known as whip shading mags or stipple mags, these cartridges use grouped round liner clusters arranged in rows rather than a traditional magnum needle formation. Available in 3x3 and 3x6 configurations, they combine the precision of round liners with the coverage of a magnum, making them popular for whip shading, pepper shading, stippling, blackwork textures, and softer gradient building.

The 3x3 configuration consists of three rows of 3 round liners, while the 3x6 configuration consists of six rows of 3 round liners, offering increased coverage while maintaining the textured effect artists look for when creating softer transitions and layered shading.

Built with a triple stabilisation system, the needles are supported throughout the cartridge to help reduce movement and provide smoother, more consistent strokes. Combined with medical-grade 304 stainless steel needles, the cartridges are designed to deliver reliable performance for detailed shading and texture work.

Each Magnum Gen 2 cartridge features an integrated comfort finger ledge, providing additional grip width for improved comfort and control during longer sessions. The transparent clear housing improves visibility of both the needle and ink flow, while colour-coded cartridges and  the needle sizing on the housing make identification quicker during setup.

Manufactured from medical-grade materials and fitted with a silicone safety membrane, every Magnum Gen 2 cartridge is individually blister packed and EO gas sterilised for professional use.
